When I arrived in Lisabon, my student Owen was already waiting on me at the aiport. After about 1,5 hour of driving we appeared in front of the bunkhouse right next to the dropzone.

When saying bunkhouse most of the skydivers imagine something close to the jail type of accomodation, little rooms with several beds, no space and no privacy, but the accomodation here is different. Honestly, the best DZ housing EXTREME 66 experienced so far. The so called bunkhouse is a beautifull modern farm with a lot of horses, goats, chickens, pigs and all types of animals, owned by retired pilot Antonio with thousands and thousands of flying hours.

He will let you use his house and you can ride his horses to the dropzone, if you don't feel like walking or driving ;)

You can start the jumping day with freshly squeezed orange juice, farm eggs and delicious coffee, that will give you energy for getting high all day long! ;)

VIBE BOOGIE started very busy on the weekend, unfortunatelly when I arrived on Monday we have few weather holds, so we couldn't jump as much. At least I get little bit of rest, that was really needed after my last week tunnel camp in Prague. Dropzone has a very friendly atmosphere, if you don't want to go out for sightseeing in Lisabon or neighourhood, you can drink some beers with the stuff, someone is always ready for a little party on bad weather days.

On good weather days, which is the most of the year here, Skydive Europe operates a brand new PAC 750 XL, that actualy gets high realy quickly. Jump tickets from 4 km / 13 000 ft will cost you 25 EURO and you can also expect very friendly stuff, load organisers, quite a lot of photographers and many crazy skydivers over there! The head of this DZ is famous Redbull athlete Mario Pardo, friendly guy who is seeking for some extra altitude 24/7.
EXTREME 66 TIP:
If you smile on the pilot for the sunset load, he will get you even higher!

EXTREME 66 appreciates very much the mirror in the airplane, it is necessary to look good while you jump and here you have a perfect opportunities to check yourself in the mirror as well as do a quick "Gopro ON" check right before you jump.
